I have known Doug Norman for over 20 years

as a martial art student and friend. His powerful

and practical martial art skills are enhanced by his

knowledge of real life experience and the integrity of

his character. There are few people that I would trust

to protect my family, but Doug Norman is one of them.

I believe that anyone of any martial art background or

experience level would learn from Doug

and enjoy his personality as a teacher.

Who We Are

The Bujinkan Macon dojo is the flagship school for the Warrior Arts Training Centers. The origins of Ninjutsu date back over a thousand years and contain the martial systems of the legendary Ninja & Samurai of feudal Japan in addition to karate and jujutsu. This information is buried within the ancient scrolls of the nine surviving families that are “Ninjutsu”. The Bujinkan Macon Dojo teaches the complete material and history of these nine families, even that material which has been kept in shadow from most of the modern world.

Ninjutsu is available to persons 16 years or older. Authentic Ninjutsu is a very practical and extremely effective system of self defense. Students will learn a plethora of weapons and unarmed techniques of the feudal Ninja without all of the movie nonsense. Our students consist of business professionals and high school/college students. We have many members of law enforcement and military personnel training with us and many family men and women. Anyone interested in training must be drug free with no criminal record. This school is dedicated to upholding the martial traditions of the legendary Takamatsu Sensei while focusing on the teachings of current Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi.

Doug Norman is a former Executive Protection Specialist and Martial Arts Teacher in Middle Georgia. He is also the founder and chief instructor of the Warrior Arts Training Center of Macon Georgia. He has been training in Bujinkan Ninjustu for nearly 25 years and currently holds the rank of Judan (10th degree black belt). In July 2008 Mr. Norman was personally awarded the Bujinkan Gold Medal for his contributions and dedication to the art of Ninjutsu from its grandmaster Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. Considered one of the nation’s foremost wilderness survival experts, he regularly teaches seminars to the public and for various civic and professional groups. Widely considered Bujinkan’s top instructor in the art of Sui Ren (water training), he is available for seminars in Ninjutsu, Wilderness Survival , Sui Ren and motivational speaking engagements around the world.
